Best Nightclubs in Miami 2026: Where to Go on Your Next Trip

Palm trees, neon lights, and bass you can feel in your chest before you even walk through the door, that's Miami after dark. For a lot of travelers, the nightlife isn't just part of the trip, it's the whole reason for it. The hard part isn't finding a club, it's narrowing down which ones are actually worth your night. Here are five that consistently make the list, what makes each one different, and what to expect before you go.

LIV (South Beach)

LIV is the one name almost everyone has heard before they land. It's inside the Fontainebleau hotel at 4441 Collins Avenue, and it's been the benchmark for Miami nightlife since 2008. Think big production: top DJs, a packed dance floor, and a crowd that came dressed for the occasion. It's open Thursday through Sunday, so plan accordingly if this one's on your list.

E11EVEN (Downtown)

E11EVEN's whole thing is that it never closes. Literally. Located at 29 NE 11th Street in downtown Miami, it's a 24-hour club with aerial performers and a nonstop show, which makes it one of the few places in Miami that works no matter what time your flight lands or how jet-lagged you are. Go in the afternoon for a mellow vibe, or after midnight when it's at full volume.

Club Space (Downtown)

A short walk from E11EVEN at 34 NE 11th Street, Club Space is the spot for people who care about the music first. It's been a Miami institution for over 20 years, known for house and techno and for its open-air rooftop terrace, where sets often run straight into sunrise. Less flash, more sound. If your idea of a great night ends with the sun coming up, start here.

M2 (South Beach)

At 1235 Washington Avenue in the Art Deco district, M2 is a big space (over 35,000 square feet) with a hip-hop and EDM mix that keeps the floor moving all night. It's known for celebrity sightings and a high-energy crowd, and it's a solid pick if you want that classic South Beach club feel without going to the most obvious name on the list.

Mr Jones (South Beach)

On Lincoln Road at 320, Mr Jones leans into an old Hollywood look (think 1930s-40s glamour) with a modern club underneath it. The music mixes hip-hop, house, and Latin, and the space feels more intimate than most of the bigger clubs. Good option if you want somewhere with a bit more atmosphere and a smaller crowd.

Before you go

A few things to know before you build your Miami night out: dress codes are real, especially in South Beach, so leave the sneakers and shorts at home. Almost everywhere on this list is 21+, so bring a valid ID, a passport works fine for international visitors. If you're traveling with a group, booking a table ahead of time is often worth it, particularly during big weekends like Art Basel, Ultra, or the Miami Grand Prix, when demand (and prices) spike hard.

Most clubs don't get going until well after midnight, so don't show up at 10pm expecting a packed floor, you'll have more fun grabbing dinner or a few drinks elsewhere first. And skip the rental car for the night: parking near these venues is limited and expensive, so Uber or Lyft is the easier call.

Frequently asked questions

How much does it cost to get into a Miami nightclub?

Cover charges vary a lot depending on the night, the venue, and whether there's a big-name DJ playing. Expect to pay more on weekends ($40-$100 USD) and during major events like Art Basel or the Miami Grand Prix. If you're going with a group, a table reservation can sometimes work out better value-wise than paying cover for everyone individually.

What should I wear to a nightclub in Miami?

Dress codes lean upscale, especially in South Beach. For guys, that generally means no shorts, sneakers, or flip-flops, collared shirts and dress shoes are a safe bet. For everyone, "dressed to impress" is closer to the vibe than "casual night out."

How late do clubs stay open in Miami?

Most clubs run until around 5am, and a few, like E11EVEN and Club Space, operate on 24-hour licenses, meaning they can stay open even longer or run sunrise sets. Things generally don't pick up until well after midnight.

Which area of Miami is best for nightlife?

South Beach has the big-name, high-glamour clubs like LIV, M2, and Mr Jones, all within walking distance of each other along Collins Avenue and Lincoln Road. Downtown Miami, around E11EVEN and Club Space, has a different energy with a heavier focus on music and longer hours.
